Who Am I?
Oli Goodall has been making music his whole life and has been singing and honing his vocal knowledge for over a decade.
Trained in Linguistics, my approach to the voice and vocal coaching has a scientific focus. I’m an accredited Vocal Health First Aider, and hold an MRes in Speech, Language and Cognition from UCL. With in-depth knowledge of phonetics and acoustics, as well as vocal anatomy and health, my first goal is to help you find freedom and comfort by accessing your true voice.
I specialise in modern, straight-tone vocal styles such as Musical Theatre, Jazz, Barbershop and Pop, although I also have experience with other musical styles. As well as technical prowess, I would love to help you find your unique artistic expression through your voice. Singing is great fun, making art that moves people is even funner!
Alongside teaching and coaching, I’m the Musical Director of Welwyn Harmony Chorus in Welwyn Garden City, and I sing with Hot Ticket Quartet, 2023 LABBS Mixed Quartet Champions and BHS International Quartet Contest competitors. Previously I sang with Meantime Chorus, 2022 BABS Male Chorus champions, and served on their music team for several years. I take a very active role in the education and organisation of Barbershop music in the UK.
